What we do
Zephyros Solutions is an Amsterdam-based company founded in 2020. We apply artificial intelligence, data analysis and scientific expertise to complex problems, working with organisations that need careful investigation as well as practical technical development.
Our project work spans Earth observation and information integrity. The wider scientific experience represented here includes environmental monitoring and plant biology. The common thread is an evidence-led approach: understand the question, examine the data and choose methods that fit.

Co-founder · Astrophysics & data analysis
Alessandro holds a PhD in astrophysics from the University of Amsterdam. His background combines statistical methods, scientific modelling and software development with artificial intelligence.
Andrey Malakhov
Co-founder · Machine learning & software
Andrey brings experience in machine learning, data science and software development, with a background in econometrics and finance and an MSc from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
Paola Zuluaga
Plant biology & molecular research
Paola’s research connects molecular biology with plant resilience. Her work at INRA investigated how rice responds to drought and disease, alongside wider research into plant–pathogen interactions.
